Summer is here—and it’s the perfect time to slow down, check in, and recommit to the practices that keep you feeling your best. At WHY, we’re all about helping you create space for real, lasting self-care—on and off the mat.
Staying consistent with your hot yoga practice during the summer may sound intense, but it’s actually the ideal time. Your body is already warm, which means you can go deeper, sweat more efficiently, and build your heat tolerance in a way that supports your overall health. Plus, there’s something incredibly satisfying about walking out of the hot room stronger, clearer, and more grounded than when you walked in.
And it’s not just yoga—this summer, we’re inviting you to take your self-care even further. Whether it’s booking a therapeutic massage (now available weekdays and weekends!), or carving out time for a full spa day staycation—with yoga, red light therapy, sauna, and massage all in one visit—this is your chance to reset and recharge without ever leaving town. (Also, a great way to prepare for your vacation or yoga retreat.)
Make space for yourself this summer, we’ve got just the place for it.
With love,
Teri
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—Brianna has just completed her 9-week teacher training and is officially joining our teaching team!
It’s always an incredible moment when one of our own takes the leap into teaching, and I couldn’t be prouder. Watching someone step into this role with passion and commitment is exactly what this practice is all about. We look forward to supporting Brianna as she grows into this next chapter of her yoga journey.
Come be part of this special moment—Brianna will teach her very first class on Wednesday, July 3 at 9:30 AM. Let’s pack the room and show her what this community is made of.
If you’ve never tried Yin Yoga, summer is the perfect time to start.
Unlike our hot yoga classes, Yin is slow, quiet, and deep. You’ll hold postures for several minutes, targeting the connective tissues—like fascia, ligaments, and joints—rather than just the muscles. It’s not about pushing or sweating; it’s about stillness and surrender.
Yin yoga works to:
It’s the perfect complement to a strong Bikram practice—or a busy life. Give yourself permission to slow down. Your body and mind will thank you.
We’re excited to welcome James Gauthier to the Wellness Hot Yoga team as our newest massage therapist!
James brings over 12 years of experience and a deep passion for helping people feel and function better. A graduate of Hesser College in Manchester, NH, he originally started in physical therapy before discovering his true calling in massage therapy. A lifelong soccer player, James naturally gravitated toward Sports Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork, becoming a true specialist in his field.
Since 2013, he’s completed over 10,000 sessions, building a treatment style that’s thoughtful, effective, and grounded in real experience.
James focuses on identifying and resolving structural dysfunction while minimizing discomfort. His goal is to improve overall body function—reducing pain, increasing comfort, and encouraging deep relaxation. He also emphasizes client education, helping you build a strong mind-body connection and giving you tools to stay well beyond the massage table.
Whether you're healing from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply in need of a reset, James is here to help.
Appointments with James are available on Thursdays & Sundays! Book your session today and discover the difference expert bodywork can make.
Christie is now available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
We’re continuing our partnership with Somebody Cares New England to support their food pantry, and right now, your help matters more than ever.
Due to recent federal funding cuts, the food bank has lost critical grant money it relied on to feed families in our community. That means more of our neighbors are at risk of going hungry, especially during the summer months when school meal programs are unavailable.
At WHY, we believe in showing up—on the mat and in the world. So we’re stepping up. We’ll continue to collect cereal boxes and cash donations every week at our Sunday Community Class to help keep the shelves stocked.
Every box of cereal, every dollar, every act of generosity makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of a community that cares deeply and acts boldly.
