What are the benefits of float therapy?

Float therapy can help with:

  • Stress reduction and relaxation
  • Relief from chronic pain and muscle tension
  • Enhanced mental clarity and focus
  • Improved sleep quality
  • Increased circulation and reduced inflammation
  • Deep mental and physical recovery

How does float therapy work?

You’ll float in a spacious, open tank filled with warm water and Epsom salts. The water is heated to skin temperature, creating a sensation of weightlessness. The peaceful environment, free from light and sound, encourages deep relaxation and allows both your body and mind to release tension.

Is float therapy safe?

Yes, float therapy is safe for most people. It’s a non-invasive, gentle therapy that has been used for decades. However, it’s not recommended for individuals with certain conditions, such as open wounds, or severe skin conditions. If you have health concerns, we suggest checking with our staff or your doctor before your session.

How long does a float therapy session last?

Sessions typically last 60 to 90 minutes, though you can choose the duration that works best for you. Most clients find that 60 minutes provides a deeply relaxing experience, but longer sessions are available if you prefer.

What should I bring or wear to a float session?

You don’t need to bring anything—everything is provided for you! Towels, earplugs, and shower facilities are available. You can simply float in your birthday suit, as there are no clothing restrictions inside the tank. You can wear a bathing suit is this is outside your comfort level.

How often should I do float therapy?

For the best results, we recommend regular sessions. Many clients experience profound benefits after just a few sessions, with some choosing to float weekly for ongoing relaxation and recovery.

Will I feel claustrophobic in the tank?

Our open float tanks are designed to be spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to stretch out, allowing you to enjoy the relaxing benefits while feeling completely at ease.

What happens if I fall asleep during my float?

It’s perfectly fine if you fall asleep! Many clients doze off during their session as the deep relaxation takes over. You’ll still receive all the benefits, and the tank is designed to be safe and comfortable for you to rest in.

What should I do after a float session?

After your float, you will shower to remove the salt water. We recommend you stay a bit to relax and hydrate in our meditation area. Otherwise, you’re free to go about your day feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Can I combine float therapy with other treatments?

Absolutely! Many clients enjoy combining float therapy with other services, like massage, sauna, or facials, for an even deeper sense of relaxation and wellness.
