Introducing

Hot Pilates is a physical training system which combines Pilates principals with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and is performed in a heated room (95-97 degrees and 40% humidity). It is an intense, full body workout designed to strengthen and build muscle, increase flexibility and stability, build support for a healthy spine, and improve overall health. Hot Pilates is performed on a yoga mat with no impact, which protects the joints and muscles from the pounding some other exercises do (like running or jumping).
This class is for EVERY-body!
Hot Pilates combines cardio (HIIT) and targeted muscle movement (isometric movement) in a heated room. The HIIT gets and keeps your heart rate up, helping you fire up your metabolism. The Pilates principles target the muscles and sculpt the body, building the body’s core to support a healthy spine.
What is Inferno Hot Pilates?
Inferno Hot Pilates is a training system which combines Pilates principles with High Intensity Interval Training ("HIIT") and is performed in a room heated to 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 40% humidity. It is an intense, full body workout designed to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve overall health. HIIT is highly efficient. 20 minutes of HIIT burns as many calories as 45 minutes of running on a treadmill. According to a 2011 study presented at the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting, just two weeks of HIIT improves aerobic capacity as much as 6 to 8 weeks of endurance training.
Why Inferno Hot Pilates?
The simple answer is: Because it works. It creates quick, visible results. IHP creates long lean muscle mass, burns fat, and increases fitness levels. It creates a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. It is performed on a yoga mat making it zero impact, therefore protecting your joints and muscles from the pounding of other exercises like running or jumping.
How does Inferno Hot Pilates work?
IHP combines cardio and muscle toning in a heated room. The High Intensity Interval Training keeps your heart rate up, helping you burn fat. The Pilates principles sculpt your body, creating long lean muscle mass. The heat loosens and softens the muscles and fascia, and the humidity makes you sweat - elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism, and promoting more fat burn.
What is a pop-up class?
A pop-up class is not a regular part of the schedule. In December and January, we hope to offer classes on different days and times to help gauge interest and determine what works well with our schedule. Our hope is to have a consistent schedule starting in February. If you are interested in this type of class, please come and show your support! You can let us know at the front desk (or email us!) if there is a particular day or time you would prefer. We look forward to finding a schedule that works for everyone.
