January 2026 Newsletter

January is your reset—but not the dramatic, all-or-nothing kind.

This is about steady, consistent practice and showing up just as you are. And you don’t have to do it alone. Our community is here to move, breathe, sweat, and support one another as we build momentum that actually lasts.

I am looking forward to all the good things to come in 2026 and sharing them with you.

New Year Schedule

January 2026 new year schedule

Start the year with intention by joining our
26 by 26 in ’26 Challenge

Kick off the year with a challenge that actually works! Complete 26 classes between January 1 and February 26 — that's about three classes per week.

It’s realistic, sustainable, and designed to help you feel stronger, more flexible, less stressed, and more present.

This isn’t a resolution that fades after a week. It works because it’s built around consistent practice, not perfection. One class at a time, momentum builds, and your future self will thank you.

To join, pick up your challenge card in the studio and start booking classes through the Wellness Hot Yoga App.

Finish all 26 classes and gain exclusive access to the Bikram Yoga Master Class and Q&A with Teri on Saturday, February 28, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Refine your practice, ask questions, and connect the dots after weeks of consistency.

Sourdough Bread Sale - Jan 3rd

Christie is back with her delicious sourdough bread after the 7:30 AM class on Friday, January 3! Start the year with the warm, comforting aroma of fresh bread to enjoy at home.

You can pre-order at the desk to guarantee your loaf, and extra bread will also be available for walk-ins. Christie accepts cash or Venmo, making it easy to grab a loaf (or two) while you’re at the studio.

Come early, stay a few minutes after class, and treat yourself to something wholesome and homemade—it’s the perfect way to start 2026!

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation done lying down that supports deep relaxation, stress relief, and a reset of the nervous system—often described as a state between waking and sleep where real restoration happens. Included in membership; non-members $10.

Come just for Nidra, or take the Yin class beforehand and stay to fully settle in. No experience needed—just show up, get comfortable, and rest.

Yoga Talk with Teri

Join Teri for a free Yoga Talk on Saturday, January 24 at 11:30 AM—an honest, down-to-earth conversation that goes beyond the postures.

We’ll explore the yoga postures in a clear, accessible way and answer your wellness questions, helping you better understand your practice and how it supports both body and mind.

With decades of teaching and real-life experience, Teri shares practical insight on building a sustainable practice, working with your body (not against it), and using yoga as a tool you can rely on off the mat, too.

Open to all students—whether you’re brand new or refining your practice. Bring your questions and curiosity, and leave with clarity you can use every day.

Costa Rica Retreat

group yoga session in Pura Vida Costa Rica

If you’ve been craving a true reset, this is your invitation.

Join us January 31–February 7 at Pura Vida Retreat Center for a mountain retreat designed to help you slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect—with yourself and with others. Surrounded by nature, this week offers the perfect balance of structure and spaciousness.

We’ll practice hot yoga and meditation, enjoy incredible nourishing food, and share time with a great group of people. Optional spa treatments and day trips are available if you want to explore, or you can do very little at all and simply rest.

This retreat meets you where you are—whether you want to be fully engaged or completely unplugged.

There’s nothing you have to do and nowhere you have to be beyond showing up for yourself. Just a supportive environment, meaningful practice, and time away from the noise of everyday life.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to say yes to yourself, this is it.
