Bikram Yoga Instructor
Before discovering hot yoga, Sadie had tried other yoga styles, but they never quite clicked. She could hold the postures, but she felt out of breath like it was just another workout. Then she took her first Bikram class at Wellness Hot Yoga—and everything changed.
From the very first session, Bikram yoga felt different. It was the first time she truly enjoyed a yoga class, and a few hours afterward, she felt something new: a deep sense of calm, a blissful connection between her body and mind. “I didn’t know what was happening, but I knew I felt good,” Sadie recalls. That experience sparked something in her—an undeniable connection to the practice and a desire to teach, even before she fully understood why.
A New England native, Sadie has moved around a lot, but her yoga journey began in Colorado in 2001 when she discovered meditation. Inspired by wellness pioneers like Wayne Dyer and Andrew Weil, she started exploring breathwork and mindfulness through a Hatha yoga book. This spiritual exploration led her to the physical practice of yoga, which quickly became a tool for self-discovery. What she learned in class—breath control, focus, and mental clarity—had a profound impact on her life outside the studio. Yoga became her anchor, helping her “keep her head on straight” and stay present in both body and mind.
Regular practice deepened Sadie’s awareness of her physical body. The mirror in the hot room, though sometimes challenging, became an invaluable tool for self-connection. Her teachers gave her the guidance to embrace that journey, and now, as an instructor, she helps others do the same. In 2022, Sadie took the next step in her yoga journey by attending the Teach From Love teacher training. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of the practice and further refined her ability to guide students with compassion and confidence.
Sadie takes her work seriously, but she also brings humor and playfulness to every class, making the practice fun and approachable. Her classes are a space for students to explore, challenge themselves, and build confidence—on and off the mat.
Outside the yoga studio, Sadie works as a physical therapist’s aide, helping people regain strength and mobility. This aligns perfectly with her yoga teaching, as both focus on movement, healing, and body awareness.
She’s also a creative spirit, exploring a variety of crafts and artistic pursuits. But perhaps her most adventurous passion? Motorcycles. The confidence, strength, and balance she’s gained through yoga have made her a stronger, more capable rider. Just like on the mat, riding requires focus, breath control, and a steady mind. And when she needs to reset, she finds that float therapy helps her drop into deep meditation almost instantly.
“Just show up. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t even have to know what you’re doing. Just step in, breathe, and let the practice work its magic.”
Whether you’re looking to heal, grow, or just have a great time on your mat, Sadie is here to guide and support you every step of the way.
